Best time to Trek:

Trek Duration:

Manaslu Circuit Trek on of the most visited trekking destinations of Nepal by both domestic and international trekkers. The trek takes 17 to 19 days in total adding arrival and departure along with a rest day during the trek.

Trek Difficulty:

This trek is considered a Moderate trek with challenging trails and the highest pass. Larkey-la is the highest mountain pass (5,160m/16,752ft).

Culture and Religion:

Manaslu Circuit Trek is also home to Buddhists, during the trek, there will be a chance to stop at the historical Buddhist monastery and shrines. In Samagaun and Samdo villages, you can explore and observe the local monk rituals and some Buddhist practices.

Food and Accommodation:

During the trek, you will find several options of lodge and tea houses with comfortable beds and quality food. However, in some cases where accommodation in lodges is not available, there will be the option of tents. But in the mountainous area, the more you trek up the lesser and limited the food options. Usually, the trekkers eat Nepali local food "Daal, bhaat, and tarkari". Other diet foods such as chocolates need to be carried by the trekkers themselves from the city.

Permit Requirement:

Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the largest trekking regions of Nepal, as it touches some parts of the Annapurna Conservation Area we need an Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) along with it we also need a Manaslu Conservation Area permit and a Restricted area permit with an experienced and licensed guide.
