both domestic and international trekkers. The trek takes 17 to 19
days in total adding arrival and departure along with a rest day during the trek.
This trek is considered a Moderate trek with challenging trails and the highest pass.
Larkey-la is the highest mountain pass (5,160m/16,752ft).
Manaslu Circuit Trek is also home to Buddhists, during the trek, there will be a chance to stop at the historical Buddhist monastery and shrines. In Samagaun and Samdo villages, you can explore and observe the local monk rituals and some Buddhist practices.
During the trek, you will find several options of lodge and tea houses with comfortable beds and quality food. However, in some cases where accommodation in lodges is not available, there will be the option of tents. But in the mountainous area, the more you trek up the lesser and limited the food options. Usually, the trekkers eat Nepali local food "Daal, bhaat, and tarkari". Other diet foods such as chocolates need to be carried by the trekkers themselves from the city.
Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the largest trekking regions of Nepal, as it touches some parts of the Annapurna Conservation Area we need an Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) along with it we also need a Manaslu Conservation Area permit and a Restricted area permit with an experienced and licensed guide.
The Manaslu Circuit Trek is an unforgettable experience. It’s a shining gem of Nepal with its own cultural and religious features. The view during the trek is magnificent and spectacular - one which you should not miss to witness in this lifetime! Since this is a moderate trek good body fitness is required to make it through the long trekking route. Make your plan to embark on the heart of the Himalayas.
