Mr. Rajesh Dharel was born and raised in Tripurasundari, Dhading District, Bagmati Province, Nepal, on April 7, 1983, located in the Central Region of Nepal and about a 5-hour drive from Kathmandu. He spent most of his childhood in the village until moving to Kathmandu in 1998. Carrying his deep interest in the tourism sector, on the eve of the Visit Nepal 1998 campaign, he started working as a trekking porter, assistant guide, and trekking guide simultaneously.
His deep interest in the trekking field from an early age, strong self-confidence, hard work, and 20 years of work experience have helped him to realize his dreams and possibilities in this profession. For that purpose, he is cooperating in the service by giving information about various places he has experienced by traveling throughout the different parts of Nepal.
With the required knowledge and expertise, he is the Operation Incharge at Royal Himalayan Holidays. And is responsible for managing all aspects of travel operations, including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination, and customer support. All in all, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company.

His childhood was spent exploring and learning from the stunning surroundings. Currently pursuing a master's degree in travel and tourism, he has dedicated himself to this dynamic industry for over 5 years.
Driven by his passion for turning challenges into opportunities, Mr. Itani set out on a journey to discover the hidden treasures of Nepal. With visits to over 25 districts under his belt, he has personally witnessed the untapped potential and natural beauty that Nepal possesses. Mr. Hari Prasad Dharel is a travel and trekking entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry. He is the Honorary Consul of Denmark to Nepal and has been contributing to strengthening diplomatic and commercial ties between the two countries. Also, as the former chairman of the Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal (HRA), he has been supporting the Government of Nepal in promoting mountain safety.
Additionally, he is actively involved in social work in various capacities, for example, he is a life member and general member of several organizations such as the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP) and Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). As a past president of the Nepal Climbing Sport Association (NCSA) - the national governing authority for sport climbing in Nepal, Mr. Dharel promoted sports tourism nationally, regionally, and internationally. He is also a former General Secretary of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) - an umbrella association of trekking agencies in the country.

Ms. Barsha Dharel is an avid traveler. In the past 15 years, she has lived in Europe, America, and South Asia. Her passion for the travel and tourism sector has led to her co-founding Royal Himalayan Holidays, where she advocates for sustainability and eco-tourism.
Mr. Lakpa Dorji Sherpa has been working in the mountaineering industry for 21 years, and the trekking industry for 18 years. A resident of Solukhumbu, Juving, Mr. Sherpa has received training in various courses, such as; a Basic mountaineering course, High mountain rescue, Rock level one, and Helicopter Marcelling. He became a licensed trekking guide in 2018.
With the help of various training and his know-how of the Himalayas and the terrain, he has successfully guided mountaineers, trekkers, and tourists to their destinations. His experience in expeditions includes Mt. Everest summit, Island Peak, Lobuche Peak, and Mera Peak. And now working together with Royal Himalayan Holidays, he is elated to deliver great service and knowledge of Nepal to you!
