Born on January 2, 1970, Mr. Kami Rita Sherpa developed a deep passion for climbing from a young age and has been scaling mountain peaks for over two decades. As per the expedition team yesterday morning, for the 29th time, Mr. Sherpa has successfully reached the top of the world and made his embark again on history.
Working as a guide for more than two decades, Mr. Sherpa has added one more mountain badge to his name. His mountaineering journey began in 1992 when he joined as a support staff member for an expedition to Everest. Since then, Mr. Sherpa has fearlessly left his mark on numerous expeditions, summiting the world's highest peak multiple times. He also conquered other highest peaks including Cho-Oyu, Mt. K2, Lhotse, and Mount Manaslu several times.
